I have worked for this company since 2006 and am currently on the management team in my capacity of Registered Valuer supporting the High Net Worth team.

I joined the jewellery trade in 1975 where I worked in Nottingham for E. S Poyser & Sons, an independent high class family business, for 30 years managing one of their showrooms until they retired.

During this time I attained specialist knowledge in all fields of the jewellery trade, from repairs to sales, merchandising to accounts.

I attained the Retail Jewellers Diploma in 1980 and Retail Jewellers Gemstone Diploma in 1995 and diamond grading qualification in 1992.

I became a National Association of Goldsmiths Registered Valuer in 1988 and was awarded alumni Fellowship of the National association of Goldsmiths, now the NAJ in 2002. In December 2014 I was awarded Fellowship status of the NAJ’s Institute of Registered Valuers. In 2020 I became a founder member and Fellow of the Jewellery Valuers Association.

I attend the annual valuers conference and receive monthly updates via the association email service, I am a subscriber to the Jeweller monthly magazine and the Gem Guide from Gemworld International Inc.

I currently complete pre and post loss valuations for private clients and insurance company policy holders and technical reports for Watches of Switzerland Group, several insurance companies and private clients.
