My jewellery career began at the age of 18 as a pawnbroker in Miltons, where no two days were the same. I fell in love with the industry and completed my Jewellery Education & Training Diploma, gaining the highest marks in the country. Fellows & Sons Auctioneers awarded me a sponsorship to attend a Valuers Conference and the rest is history!

I am now really proud to be the Assistant Manager of Miltons in Liverpool, delivering the best experience for our customers and our valuation service is really important part of our in-house service. All valuations are carried out on the premises so clients don't need to worry about their items being sent away. As one of four Registered Valuers working at Miltons, our team of valuers has the most extensive range of knowledge and experience, assuring you of the best attention at all times.

Valuation process

When you leave your items with us, I will first inspect them and check their condition. I will then create a comprehensive portfolio for you, including detailed descriptions, photographs of your items complete with fully researched values. On completion, we will go through your valuation together and I will answer any queries if there are any. 

Laboratory-grown diamond screening

Your jewellery and watches are fully insured while they are with us and will be appraised by qualified, experienced valuers. Miltons are members of the NAJ and NPA, insured through T.H.March & Co. It is imperative to us, at Miltons, that we keep up-to-date with the current market regarding diamond and gemstone treatments, which is why we were one of the first jewellers in the country to be using the new Sherlock Holmes 4.0 machines to screen for laboratory-grown diamonds.

CertGA - Gemmology Foundation ~ Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A)

Certificate of Appraisal Theory - NAJ

5-Day Diamond Grading Certificate - Gemological Institute of America (GIA)
